KP transporters increase fares after hike in petrol prices.

PESHAWAR -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) transporters on Sunday have increased fares after the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) raised petroleum prices by Rs25.58 per litre.

The fares for inter-provincial transport service have been hiked by 15 percent. The fare from Peshawar to Islamabad and Rawalpindi has been increased from Rs300 to Rs400.

The reaction came after federal government had announced to increase the prices of petroleum products with immediate effect.
