KP govt, Nestle Pakistan conduct waste-management training.

PESHAWAR -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) with collaboration of Nestle Pakistan on Thursday conducted a two-day extensive training on waste management and sustainable tourism in Swat.

The training focused on building capacity of local hospitality industry to promote sustainability goal of shaping a waste-free future.

Over 50 participants, from local hospitality tourism industry were trained under the initiative.

The training comprised of sessions on categorizing waste, importance of recycling, conducting waste audits, basic food safety and importance of WASH compliance among others. The interactive sessions included theoretical learning as well as hands-on training.
