KP CM announces university, degree colleges in Shangla.

Peshawar -- Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Monday announced establishment of a university, construction of Khwaza Khela-Bisham Expressway, setting up of two degree colleges and upgradation of District Headquarter Hospital Shangla.

Addressing a public gathering at Puran in Shangla district, the Chief Minister also announced status of tehsil for Kana and Rs300 million for different development projects in PK-24. He further announced construction of various roads including Karora to Chakisar, Karora to Ajmira and Manglor Shangla Top Roads in addition to immediately start work on Puran Grid Station. Provincial Minister Shoukat Yousafzai, MPA Azizullah, MPA Fakhar Jehan and former provincial minister Abdul Muneem were also present on the occasion.

Mahmood Khan said that previous rulers had done nothing for the people except looting the public exchequer. Their politics based only on lie and deception and they always used to deceive the general public, he said. The Chief Minister said that the politicians, who could not resolve the issues of their home town during five-year tenure of their government, do not have the right of politics.

Mahmood Khan says wellbeing of general public top priority of government

Mahmood Khan said that Imran Khan stood for positive change in the country and was striving to fix the 72 years old defects and deficiencies in the system. The wellbeing of the general public, he said, was his top most priority. He said that PIT's government believed in uniform development of people and had gone all-out for the purpose due to which the people had elected it with majority in the general elections of 2018.

The Chief Minister hoped that the PTI would again come into power with the support of the people in the upcoming general elections of 2023. Touching upon the mega achievements of his government, the Chief Minister said that Sehat Card Plus was a flagship and public-friendly initiatives of the government through which free healthcare facilities were being provided to millions of households of the province.
