KMC appoints five assistant professors.

PESHAWAR -- Five assistant professors have been appointed in the Khyber Medical College while as many were promoted to the post of associate professor, said a press release.

It said that a notification in this regard was issued on Tuesday after approval of the Board of Governors of medical teaching institutions KMC and Khyber Teaching Hospital. They will work on probation for one year.

The newly-appointed assistant professors include Dr Nadia Altar and Dr Munwar Ali Shah (haematology), Dr Naheed Khattak (biochemistry), Dr Faiza Nadeem (forensic medicine and toxicology), and Dr Shahida Raza Khan (neonatology).

The promoted teachers include Dr Iqbal Haider (medicine), Dr Inamullah Khan (medicine), Dr Tayeba Mazhar (gynea), Dr Sadaf Ambreen and Dr Munila Shabnam Khattak (anatomy).
