WE recently witnessed Saudi Arabia's displeasure over the Kuala Lumpur summit when it forced Pakistan not to participate in it only to maintain Middle East's supremacy, especially of Saudi Arabia's over the Muslim world through the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The Islamic world needs more progressive and enlightened leaders to represent Muslims globally. To do so, we need new, meaningful platforms to achieve our goals.
