'Killer' of public prosecutor arrested.

PESHAWAR -- The Lower Dir district police on Monday claimed to have successfully traced a blind murder case of assistant public prosecutor Mohammad Saeed Advocate, who was gunned down in Chakdara on Oct 10.

Talking to Dawn on phone, Lower Dir district police officer Arif Shahbaz Wazir while confirming the report said that the investigation team worked hard and succeeded in tracing the killer of the lawyer who worked as assistant public prosecutor at the office of assistant commissioner, Adenzai Chakdara.

The police officer said that on a clue they arrested Imran, cousin of deceased Saeed, and during interrogation the accused confessed that his family members had hatched the conspiracy to kill the lawyer.

It merits a mention here that unknown attackers had knocked at the door of Mohammad Saeed Advocate...
