Khyber hospital MS gets notice over funds 'embezzlement'.

KHYBER -- The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa anti-corruption department has served a notice on the medical superintendent District Headquarter Hospital Landi Kotal over his failure to submit record of monetary spending by the hospital despite repeated reminders during the last few weeks.

A team of the anti-corruption department visited the hospital for the second time the other day and found the medical superintendent, Dr Jamshed Sherani, absent while his subordinate staff refused to hand over the record on the pretext that they were not authorised to do so.

The anti-corruption department has initiated an enquiry against the medical superintendent for his alleged involvement in funds embezzlement and misuse of his official authority.
