KHAR -- The doctors and paramedics of the district headquarters hospital held a demonstration here on Friday evening against the torture of their colleagues allegedly by the PTI activists, including supporters of a PTI lawmaker.

The emergency and casualty department of the hospital remained closed during the protest, which lasted two hours.

The protesters told reporters here that the PTI activists beat up some facility members with sticks after heated exchanges inside the hospital.

They demanded the administration and police book attackers and give them exemplary punishment.

The doctors and paramedics ended protest and resumed work after a delegation of the district administration led by Khar subdivision assistant commissioner Fazal Raheem met them and assured them of early resolution...
