KARACHI -- The building of Khairpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry was destroyed due to fire. All the items kept in the building, all the important documents in Khairpur Chamber and crores of rupees kept in the date warehouse attached to the chamber were destroyed by the fire. According to details, the Khairpur Chamber of Commerce, the representative body of the traders of Khairpur , the largest center of date production in Pakistan, was gutted by a fire between Tuesday and Wednesday night. A fire broke out in the building of Khairpur Chamber at night, and there was chaos in the surrounding buildings. The officials of Khairpur Chamber also reached the building to put out the fire, but due to the severity of the fire, the belongings inside the building could not be saved.
