Kenya's naval chief visits PN headquarters.

ISLAMABAD -- The commander of Kenya Navy visited the Naval Headquarters and met the chief of the naval staff, according to a press release issued by Pakistan Navy's Directorate General of Public Relations on Tuesday.

Kenya Navy's Commander Maj Gen Levi Franklin Mghalu and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi discussed maritime security, stability and bilateral naval collaboration between their countries.

Admiral Abbasi highlighted Pakistan's commitment to fighting terrorism and Pakistan Navy's contributions to ensuring maritime security and peace in the region.

Pakistan's Naval Chief thanked Maj Gen Mghalu for the hospitality extended to Pakistan Navy Ships Aslat and Moawin on their recent visit to Mombasa.

The commander of Kenya Navy praised Pakistan Navy ships for establishing a medical camp at the port which facilitated thousands of patients and for holding exercise with Kenya Navy ship Jassiri.
