KDA ordered to retrieve state land grabbed in China cutting.

KARACHI -- The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday ordered Karachi Development Authority (KDA) to launch an anti-encroachment drive in Gulistan-e-Jauhar to vacate the state-owned land occupied in the neighbourhood through China cutting.

China cutting refers to the practice pioneered by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) of slicing plots from parks and land earmarked for public amenities and converting them into residential and commercial property that is sold off for huge profits.
