KC-EU for immediate restoration of citizens' rights in IOK.

BRUSSELS -- Speakers of an international seminar in capital of Belgium have asked the international community to take serious notice of the large scale violation of citizens rights of the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) for last several months.

The seminar was organized by Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) on black day (Indian republic Day) at central secretariat of the council at European headquarters Brussels.

The participants of the seminar discussed the latest situation particularly rights of the civilian people and as well as impact of constant siege of occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces.

The seminar was addressed by senior leader of Kashmir Council EU Ch Khalid Mahmood Joshi, Intellectual Khalid Hameed Farooqi, local councilor Amir Naeem Suny, journalist EndreBarcs and chairman Kashmir Info Mir Shahijahan and others.

The speakers said, the international community including United Nation and European Union should do serious acts to pressure India to end siege of the people of occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also duty of the international community to help Kashmiris in order to obtain their right to self determination promised by India seven decades ago.
