KATI felicitates Murad Ali Shah for approving the new Korangi Causeway Bridge.

KARACHI -- Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Patron-in-Chief SM Muneer, KATI President Salman Aslam and KITE Limited CEO Zubair Chhaya expressed gratitude for the orders to construct the new Korangi Causeway Bridge by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

SM Muneer said that Sindh Chief Minister gave orders to prepare a 6-lane bridge, which was a long-standing problem in the industrial area. The existing causeway gets flooded during the rainy season, due to which the flow of traffic from Korangi Industrial Area is badly affected and the citizens suffer from traffic jams for many hours. He said that the bridge being constructed at a cost of 5 billion will increase the economic activity of the Korangi industrial area, which is needed desperately.

President KATI Salman Aslam said that after the rains, the delivery of export goods from the Korangi industrial area through the existing causeway used to be disrupted, due to which the industrialists had to bear heavy losses.
