Kashmiris to observe Protest Day on Monday against G-20 summit in IIOJK.

MIRPUR (AJK) -- Jammu and Kashmir people living both sides of the line of control (LoC) and rest of the world are all set to observe Protest Day on Monday, May 22 to express their anguish and resentment over New Delhi's forced holding of G-20 member countries' tourism summit the same day, in internationally-acknowledged disputed Kashmir's Srinagar city.

The Protest Day call has been given by All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Jammu Kashmir Peoples true representative forum and supported fully by Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

There would be a complete shutter down and wheel jam strike at both sides of the line of control; IIOJK and AJK to register the protest against forced holding of the congregation on a disputed land against the wishes of the main stakeholder, the Jammu Kashmir State Population.

In AJK, mamoth protest rallies and demonstrations by the people in all small and major towns including the State capital city of Muzaffarabad, Mirpur. Rawalakot, Kotli, Bhimbher, Bagh, Palandri, Haveili Neelam and Jhelum Valley districts will be the hallmark of the day to apprise the Indian repeated unlawful activities in disputed Kashmir in its illegal and forced occupation violating the United Nations Charter about Kashmir.

Foreign minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is scheduled to address a special session of AJK Legislative Assembly on May 22 in Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with the people of Jammu Kashmir in their struggle for liberation of the motherland from Indian shackles.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari started his three-day visit to various parts of AJK from Sunday, the PPP's AJK sources told reporter here on Sunday.

In IIOJK, complete wheel jam strike will be held on the call of APHC and all other freedom-loving groups who have appealed to the G-20 member countries not to attend the congregation being hosted on a globally acknowledged disputed territory, since the moot would have no legitimacy at international level besides in their own country tries.

Meanwhile an extraordinary meeting. held at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal capital with President of Azad Jammu Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry in the chair and attended by leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference.
