Kashmir: why no plebiscite?

EVER since India revoked Article 370, removing the special status for India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the Indian constitution, Pakistan's has been a routine response, lacking required punch befitting the Indian action.

Pakistan's foreign office failed to generate support even at the OIC level, where none other than Saudi Arabia and the UAE refused to support Pakistan. How long will 'power elites' merely talk about Pakistan's strategic importance?

So far, Pakistan's strategic position has failed to garner any support against Indian action despite our much trumpeted vital role in resolving the Afghan Taliban issue.

One can blame our foreign office led by its present foreign minister responsible for such a poor show. A logical answer to India's action is to tell the world that it has taken Jammu and Kashmir issue back to the status it had...
