Kashmir is Burning.

Jammu and Kashmir- a beautiful state- a state of courageous, bold and brave people, located in South Asia bordering Pakistan, India and China. Partitioning of Subcontinent deprived the Kashmiri's their right of freedom, the right, that nature blesses everyone with. It's being seven decades now that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are struggling for their political rights Indian forces are committing massive human rights violation in the occupied state. India has been refusing any settlement of the issue, turning down the UN resolutions, spurning international meditation and averting any dialogue on the issue. By scrolling the pages of history it comes out that India was never willing to free Kashmir and always used the delaying tactics.

The Indian government writes a letter to UN 0n December 31st 1947 saying 'The people of Kashmir would be free to decide their future by the recognized method of plebiscite.' Another resolution of UN on 15th March 1950 saying steps should be taken for expeditious determination of its (Kashmir's) future in accordance with freely expressed will of the inhabitants.'

With conspiracy and fraudulent acts, India obviated the lawful disposition of the State of Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it by sheer use of force, which it continues even today with widespread violation of human rights.

These violations are systematic, deliberate and officially sanctioned. India's law grants legal impunity for any actions aimed at suppressing Kashmiri dissent or support for self-determination, therefore not a single person of more than 700, 000 military and paramilitary troops prosecuted for human rights abuses. The same has been witnessed by Owen Bennett Jones a journalist associated with BBC News in his report , titled Three surprises from a visit to Kashmir writes, 'Although all the numbers relating to Kashmir are keenly...
