Karakoram Patrolling Force to be restored.

BATTAGRAM -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief Dr Sanaullah Abbasi has said a summary has been sent to the government for restoration of the Karakoram Patrolling Force (KPF).

During his visit to Battagram district on Saturday, the IGP stressed the need for provision of basic rights and delivery of justice to the public. 'The elements trying to create law and order situation must be dealt with an iron hand,' he added.

He emphasised that making Pakistan a polio-free country was the police department's duty, directing to put in place best security arrangement for the anti-polio campaigns.

Upon arrival at the Battagram police lines, Dr Abbasi received a guard of honour by a police contingent. He also planted a sapling on the premises.
