Karachi is launching a campaign for implementation of tobacco control laws.

KARACHI -- The District Government Karachi is launching a campaign for implementation of tobacco control laws at all '6' Districts of Karachi . The main focus will be Protection of NonSmokers from second hand smoke. All Public places and Public transport will be ensured to be smoke free . This initiative is being started in collaboration with Ministry of National Health Services , Regulations and Coordination , Islamabad, with the objective of protecting lives of 166,000 Pakistanis who die of tobacco related diseases, every year.
