Karachi citizen shot dead by robbers over resistance.

KARACHI -- A man was reportedly shot dead by robbers over resistance in Karachi's Landhi area, media reported.

According to police officials, the incident took place on Sunday evening when Wahab was shot and killed over resisting during a robbery near Landhi 2B, Karachi.

'After the robbery at the general store, the victim tried to catch the armed muggers riding on a motorbike, one of them fired two shots at him and rode away,' police stated.

Last month, a Sindh Police officer was killed by two suspected robbers in Karachi's Buffer Zone area over resistance.

According to sources, two alleged street criminals opened fire at a police officer during bike snatching near the Buffer Zone area.

The officer has taken to the nearest hospital for medical assistance where the doctors declared him dead.

The deceased police officer was posted in the anti-encroachment cell in Karachi.
