Kadri family's services highlighted.

LARKANA -- Zulfikar Ali Kadri is a well-read and highly experienced soul and if he writes his autobiography, it will provide its readers a very valuable and intellectual asset.

This was stated by prominent writer and scholar Dr Bashir Ahmed Shaad at a literary gathering convened here in Sachal Adabi Markaz the other day in honour of Mr Kadri, a writer and former accountant general of Sindh. Kadri belongs to a family of literati who contributed a lot to the enrichment of Sindhi literature.

Dr Shaad said literary services of his family were highly recognised.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kadri said: 'We are followers of mystic poet Sachal Sarmast and have adopted his philosophy not only in our thinking, but way of life as well. Whatever I have written defines my beliefs and philosophy of life. First I started writing in English then in Sindhi and Urdu. My books received a wide recognition nationally and internationally. My family has a laudable contribution to the literary history of Larkana, but I wanted to contribute on my part as well.'

Prof Mukhtiar Samo, founder of the Knowledge Centre Larkana, said the book of Zulfikar Ali Kadri in English language Enhancing Beauty from Within was full of inspiration, intellect, experience, wisdom and observation.
