K2 tragedy.

Pakistan is the dwelling place of 5 peaks more than 8000m including K2, Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I and II. While the K2, also known as Godwin-Austin, is the 2nd highest peak with a height of 8611 m after Mount Everest in the World. Over the decades the mountaineers have been trying to climb the peaks.

Recently Muhammad Ali Sadpara- the legend mountaineer- leading his team of 22 members including his son of 21 years old tried to ascend K2 in the winter, whereas the current temperature recorded 50 to 60 AdegC. It is an undeniable fact that to climb the K2 mountain in winters is a hard nut to crack due to frigid temperature.
