Justice Afridi disagrees with SC order on FIR.

ISLAMABAD -- Justice Yahya Afridi on Tuesday expressed reservations over Monday's Supreme Court order requiring Inspector General of Punjab Faisal Shahkar to lodge an FIR of the assassination attempt on former prime minister Imran Khan in Wazirabad.

'With profound respect, I have serious jurisdictional reservations regarding the observations made in para 2 of the order, as they are not relevant to the lis in hand,' observed Justice Yahya Afridi, a member of the five-judge Supreme Court bench that passed the order, in a dissent issued on Tuesday.
