Junaid Jamshed remembered on his 4th death anniversary.

ISLAMABAD -- The fourth death anniversary of renowned singer turned religious scholar Junaid Jamshed was observed on Monday. On this day in 2016, he died in a plane crash near Havelian along with 47 passengers and crew members on-board. The plane took off from Chitral and crashed in Havelian, about 125 km north of Islamabad. Born in Karachi on 3rd September, 1964, Junaid Jamshed briefly worked as civilian contractor and engineer for the Pakistan Air Force before turning to music as a potential career option.

He and his band 'Vital Signs' gained immense popularity during the 80s, with their claim-to-fame songs like'Dil Dil Pakistan', 'Aitebaar', 'Hum Tum', 'Dil Ki Baat' and various others.
