JUI-F, PML-N join hands for Nowshera by-poll.

NOWSHERA -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl on Saturday decided to contest the by-election on PK-63 constituency jointly as the latter withdrew its candidate in favour of the former.

The decision was announced at a joint press conference addressed by PML-N provincial president Amir Muqam and JUI-F provincial emir Senator Maulana Attaur Rehman.

The parties announced that they would field PML-N's Ikhtiar Wali for the by-poll as JUI-F nominee Hakim Ali Haqqani withdrew from the race to give a tough time to the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf candidate.

On the occasion, Amir Muqam said Pakistan was facing different challenges due to the 'incompetency' of the present government. He said common man was finding it difficult to make both ends meet due to increasing rates of petrol, gas, electricity and household items. He insisted that incompetent government was imposed on the nation.
