JUI-F defers protest till today.

ISLAMABAD -- The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) postponed protest till today (Monday) after assurance from DC Islamabad that the culprits involved in the murder of JUI-F local leader Mufti Ikram, his son and pupil to be arrested within 24 hours.

The JUI-F activists blocked the Murree Road for the traffic as they were protesting with dead bodies demanding immediate arrest of the perpetrators involved in the killing of Mufti Ikram, his son and a student.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat along with SSP Operations Syed Mustafa Tanveer held talks with the protesters and assured them that culprits would be arrested within next 24 hours on which the demonstrators postponed the sit-in till today.

It is worth to mention that on Saturday night some unidentified assailants shot dead Mufti Ikram-ur-Rehman and two others at the federal capital Prince Road, in the jurisdiction of Bara Kahu Police...
