JUI-F challenges presidential reference on Senate polls in SC.

ISLAMABAD -- JUI-F has challenged presidential ordinance on Senate polls in Supreme Court (SC).JUI-F has filed petition challenging the presidential ordinance on Senate polls through Kamran Murtaza and Jahangir Jadoon ordinance.

JUI-F has taken plea in the petition the sovereignty and powers of the parliament and SC have been trampled through the ordinance. This presidential reference has been filed at the behest of one political party. The political party at whose behest the ordinance has been promulgated is facing defeat in Senate polls.
