Judiciary termed last hope for nation's integrity.

LOWER DIR -- District and Sessions Judge Phool Bibi has said that judiciary is the last hope for the integrity of nation.

She was addressing a function of lawyers after administering oaths to the newly-elected cabinet of Timergara District Bar Association here on Tuesday.

Besides bar's members and judicial staff, Civil Judge Zaibun Nisa, Senior Civil Judge Farmanullah, Civil Judge Asif Kamal, Civil Judge Ahmad Danial and Civil Judge Imran Ahmad also attended the event.

The function was also addressed by bar president Kifayat Yar Bukhari, former president Mohammad Tariq, general secretary Ajman Nawab and others. President of bar Kifayat Yar Bukhari, vice president Mohammad Yar Khan, general secretary Ajman Nawab, joint secretary Imdadullah, finance secretary Khurshid Khan, librarian Junaid Khan and executive member Mohammad Yousaf were sworn in on the occasion.

Ms Phool Bibi asked the young lawyers to keep learning values and manners from their seniors.

'We read law in our books but values and manners are not learnt from books,' she said. She added that young generation should recognise its importance in nation building.

The district and sessions judge said that coordination between bar and bench was essential for rule of law.
