JOURNALIST DIES.

Sajid Adam, a local social media activist and journalist, passed away after protracted illness at Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor on Sunday night.

He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard here on Monday. A resident of Maneri Payyan village, he was living in Pirtab area. He left behind a widow, a son, four daughters and parents. He was suffering from cancer.

Sajid, 38, was an active member of Swabi Union of Journalists. He worked for different newspapers. 'We have lost a brave and brilliant journalist, who always remained unbiased and did fair and fearless reporting. We are proud of his contributions,' said SUJ president Ihsanul Haq Bamkhelvi.
