The pioneering resolution about the need for India's partition was presented not by Haji Abdullah Haroon but by Shaikh Abdul Majid Sindhi at the October 1938 conference of the Sindh Muslim League, presided over by Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
