IUB approves programmes for campuses.

BAHAWALPUR -- The academic council of the Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) at its 48th meeting on Thursday approved new faculties, departments and programmes at its main campuses of the city and sub-campuses of Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan.

According to an IUB press release, the meeting approved faculties of agriculture and veterinary and animal sciences for the city campuses and PhDs programmes in commerce and medicines as well as MPhil and MSc programmes in veterinary and animal sciences and electrical engineering (communication and signal processing).

The press release added that the academic council also approved introducing BS Media Studies and IT programmes at Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar sub-campuses respectively.
