It is regrettable thing that PTI Govt has itself put Islamabad on lockdown: Bilawal.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday said that it is regrettable thing that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has itself put Islamabad on lockdown. He said that it is first time that the government itself is locking down its capital. He said that PPP is supporting Azadi March from day one, adding that PPP office-bearers and workers are supporting Maulana Fazlur Rehman's protest and welcoming it.

He said that NAB and economy could not move forward jointly first it was our point of view but now the government and other institutions have same point of view. He said that there is no reason for opening NAB today, adding that we have to shut NAB.

He said that whether it is restoration of democracy, putting economy on right direction, whether it is independence of media, Imran Khan is problem in front of all these problems, adding that if we will take resignation from Imran Khan we could resolve all these problems. He said that in result of our hard work and struggle of workers the puppet government will go home and masses government will be formed which will resolve the problems of people.

This Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said while talking to media persons outside the accountability. Assefa Bhutto Zardari, President Central Punjab President Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar were also present on the occasion.

The PPP chairman said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should not take U-turn on every matter and must keep on his given words. 'Khan Saheb himself vows to provide food and container to the opposition parties for sit-in,' he added.

Criticizing the incumbent government, Bilawal Bhutto termed that the peaceful protest is right for all the political parties. He said that all the political parties are demanding for the mid-term polls. 'The prime minister is responsible for all the crises in the country,' he added.

'PTI has itself put federal capital, Islamabad on lockdown. Will continue efforts to send the government packing,' Bilawal Bhutto mentioned.
