Islamabad police reach Lahore to 'arrest' Imran Khan.

An Islamabad police arrived in Lahore on Sunday to arrest PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan.

Islamabad SP City Hussain Tahir, who is leading the police team, is carrying arrest warrants issued by Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal in Toshakhana case.

Lahore police have been approached for the arrest of the PTI chief who failed to appear before the court despite repeated summons.

Mr Khan is likely to be arrested after all the legal requirements are fulfilled. An Islamabad sessions court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for the former prime minister last month over persistent absences.
