Islamabad police officers asked not to allow relatives to stay in residences.

ISLAMABAD -- Officials of the capital police have been told to avoid giving accommodation to anyone other than their family members at their official residences.

According to a circular issued from Central Police Office Islamabad, 'It has been observed with great concern that allottees of government accommodation are facilitating residence of their relatives other than their allowed family members i.e. spouse, children and parents.'

The police officers are not allowed to permit any other relative or individual to stay in their allotted government accommodation, it added.

It is therefore directed that all the allottees of government accommodation shall immediately discontinue this practice and only reside with their family members, the circular said, adding that in case any officer or official is found violating directions, strict departmental proceedings will be initiated against him or her including...
