Islam is religion of peace and gives equal rights to all religions: Speakers.

Mardan -- Speakers at an event in Mardan on Thursday said Islam gives equal rights to all religions and does not teach hatred but love and tolerance.

They said that the Qaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Janah in his August 1947 speech said that ever one will live feely in Pakistan and every will have religion freedom.

The speakers include Bishop Murad Mushtaq, Rajish Kumar, Tabak Raj, Hans Raj, Ravi Parkash, Mohammad Numan Khan, Mohammad Iftikhar, Baljiet Doghal office bearers of Faith Friends Group (FFG) Mardan chapter were addressing to a news conference at Mardan Press Club.

They said that Pakistan is a bouquet of different religions, in which Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Ismaili and other religions live.
