IOC course for wrestling coaches concludes.

LAHORE -- The two-day IOC Olympic Solidarity Technical course for wrestling coaches ended in Lahore on Thursday.

Two experts deputed by United World Wrestling (UWW) namely Trevor Hoskins (UK) and Spain's Carlos Garcia Santisteban imparted latest techniques and skills to the local coaches to help them develop better understanding of Olympic sports in line with international standards.

Chief guest Shaukat Javed, who is vice-president of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA), distributed the certificates among the participants. He thanked the IOC for the role it was playing throughout the world for promoting and developing sports.

According to POA secretary Mohammad Khalid Mahmood, it was the seventh course the POA had organised under the auspices of the IOC during the last three years. The course was organised in collaboration with the Pakistan Wrestling Federation.
