Interior Ministry announces amnesty for dual passport, identity card holders.

ISLAMABAD -- The Interior Ministry on Thursday has made a big decision and given relief to those who have committed the crime of having two identity cards and passports.

Sources privy to this matter said that the Interior Ministry has announced amnesty for the holders of two identity cards and passports after the approval of the cabinet through which the facility of removing a card and passport without any legal action has been introduced.

On the other hand, more than 38,000 people across the country have two identity cards and passports which they forged with the involvement of NADRA officials.
