Interactive Session on Pakistan - Kazakhstan Relations.

An interactive session on theme: "Pakistan-Kazakhstan Relations: Invoking Parliamentary Diplomacy for Meaningful Cooperation" initiated by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan was held in the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services.

The event was attended by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Asad Qaiser, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Barlybay Sadykov, Convener of Pakistan-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group H.E. Mrs. Shazia Marri, members of the National Assembly of Pakistan, as well as representatives of business circles, experts and mass media.

In his speech, the Speaker of the National Assembly called on the parliaments of the two countries for closer cooperation, and also emphasized Pakistan's interest in expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan.

In addition, the Speaker highlighted the contribution of Kazakhstan to strengthening regional security. Mr. Qaiser paid special attention to the increasing of trade turnover between countries and increasing the level of economic cooperation to the existing high level of political cooperation.
