Indian troops bar people from participating in night-long prayers at Chrar-e-Sharief.

ISLAMABAD -- India claim about normalcy in the occupied territory, while the authorities did not allow people to participate in the night-long prayers at Chrar-e-Sharief in Budgam district of Indian occupied Kashmir.

According to reporter, the devotees who had come from various areas of Kashmir valley to participate in the prayers at the shrine of popular Islamic scholar, Noorudin Wali (RA) were not allowed by Indian troops to enter the shrine. The authorities had sealed the area day before the celebrations commenced.

Life continues to remain far from being normal in the Kashmir Valley; restrictions remain enforced while internet across all platforms and prepaid cellular services are suspended.

An informal but widespread civil disobedience movement remains in effect across the Kashmir Valley in protest against the Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and New Delhi's recent action. Shopkeepers keep their shops shut for most part of the day, students stay away from schools and public transport is hardly seen on the roads.

While today in Baramulla district, at least fifteen people were injured in a grenade attack near bus stand. Indian forces cordoned off the area and started house-to-house search operation.
