ISLAMABAD -- In Occupied Kashmir, Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, says India cannot alter the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir by its despotic measures like dividing the territory into two parts. In a statement in Srinagar on Thursday, he said India is grossly violating UN resolutions on Kashmir and international law. Syed Ali Gilani said by imposing two new puppet dictators in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as Lieutenant Governors, India wants to suppress the Kashmiris' ongoing just struggle for securing their right to self-determination. However, he said, such Indian tactics could not force Kashmiri people into submission.
