Imran rejects Punjab CM's election.

ISLAMABAD -- Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday rejected Punjab Assembly's Saturday's proceedings to elect PML-N's Hamza Shehbaz Sharif as Chief Minister of the province.

In a tweet on Sunday, the former premier said incidents taking place at Punjab Assembly on Saturday were contrary to democratic practices and constitutional articles.

'Whatever happened in Punjab Assembly [on Saturday] was in complete contradiction with constitutional articles and democratic norms, and completely condemnable,' former premier wrote in his tweet.
