Imran Khan decides not to stop Maulana from long march.

Islamabad -- Federal Interior Minister Ijaz Shah said that the prime Minister Imran Khan has decided that he is politician and will not stop Maulana from the long march. He further said that Maulana should go ahead for long march but should abide by the court decisions pertaining to sit in.

In July the opposition decided to protest against the government and on third October Maulana Fazal ur Rehman for the first time has given the date for protest.

On Thursday addressing a joint press conference along with the assistant on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Brigadier (Rtd) Ijaz Shah said whether they will hold march or give Dharna, Only Maulana knows better and his companions were not aware of it. He further said that the statements of government and opposition have aggravated the political atmosphere.

Ijaz Shah added that following the decision of the Prime Minister to give permission for long march has silenced the desirous of creating a chaotic situation.

Federal Minister further said that the decisions of Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Islamabad High Court pertaining to sit in should be abided by. He said that Rehbar Committee has briefed the opposition committee on the dangers in the D Chock and Government Committee has not discussed any demand with the Rehbar committee and only made them aware of the dangers. He referred that in the past several assaults were launched on Islamabad. He also gave a reference of Qazi Hussain Ahmad protest which had left several dead.
