IHC to resume hearing on petition for appointment of ECP members on Dec 31.

ISLAMABAD -- The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed a case related to appointment of two members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) from Sindh and Balochistan for hearing on Dec 31.

An IHC bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah will hear the case.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) 17th December gave the parliament 10 more days to resolve the matter over two appointments in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The court has summoned report regarding the matter till 10:30 AM on 31st December. The court has directed the Chairman Senate Mir Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser to help resolve the issue till 31st December.
