IHC orders to investigate the incident of raid on senior journalist Mohsin Jamil Baig home, Police torture against him.

ISLAMABAD -- Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to carry out investigation into the incidents of raid on the home of senior journalist and police torture against him in police station.

The case against FIA personnel for conducting illegal raid on senior journalist Mohsin Jamil Baig home came up for hearing before single bench of IHC presided over by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah Tuesday.

The court extended its order for two weeks for not registering case against FIA personnel.

Islamabad Sessions court had ordered to register case against FIA personnel on the petition of Senior journalist Mohsin Baig.

Latif Khosa argued before the court that it is known to all this case started from Prime minister and Murad Saeed. Federal minister and the accused were here but case was registered in Lahore. The operation was conducted the way a commando action is launched against the enemy. Therefore, it is requested to the court to constitute a judicial commission to investigate the matter.
