IHC directs AECC not to indict accused involved in judge Malik video scandal.
ISLAMABAD -- Islamabad High Court (IHC) Thursday directed the Anti Electronic Crime Court (AECC) not to indict accused involved in former Accountability Court Judge Arshad Malik video scandal.
Justice Aamir Farooq extended the stay order on the petition of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The court directed the AECC not to proceed the trial until the next hearing.
Deputy Attorney General Tayyub Shah said the FIA submitted incomplete challan of accused Tariq Mahmood on September 23.
The FIA's new investigation team added terrorism provisions in the case, he added.
