IGP seeks PSCA help to check kite flying, wheelie.

LAHORE -- Inspector General of Punjab Police Shoaib Dastagir has directed the Safe City Authority and traffic police officers to take action against the violators who are not paying fines despite getting e-challans on traffic violations.

'Stop motorbikes, cars and other vehicles, seize their registration documents and issue them new slips,' he said while addressing a session/meeting at the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) headquarters at Qurban Lines on Tuesday.

He said the officials should ask the violators to pay challan fee and get registration documents back from the traffic wardens. The IGP directed the traffic police officers and the PSCA officers to make coordination more effective to facilitate the citizens and reduce the violation of traffic laws.

He further said that SP dolphin should sit at safe city headquarters so that performance and monitoring of the force may be made more efficient.
