IGP launches khidmat markaz, nine other projects.

LAHORE -- Inspector General of Punjab Police (IGP) Shoaib Dastgir on Friday inaugurated a facilitation centre (kidmat markaz) in Bahria Town and nine projects of Rawalpindi police.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony at Bahria Town, the IGP said a network of khidmat marakiz had been extended to all districts across the province where people were availing 14 important facilities through modern online integrated system.

Earlier, Capital City Police Officer Zulfiqar Hameed briefed the gathering about the facilities at the facilitation centre, saying it would provide more than a dozen services to people, including character certificates, tenancy registration, police verification report, record of mobile phones and vehicles and licensing facilities.

He said that keeping in view facilitation of the public, a khidmat markaz app has also been designed and people could download it to get information regarding services and book a time to visit.

Later, an online ceremony was held at Central Police Office where IGP Dastgir inaugurated nine modern projects of Rawalpindi police meant for service delivery...
