ICT admin to enhance Covid-19 testing capacity for residents.

Islamabad -- The capital administration has decided to enhance its Covid-19 testing capacity up to 3,000 people daily.

According to the release issued by Deputy Commissioner Office Islamabad on Wednesday, as many as 80,000 tests have been conducted for Covid-19 so far. DC Islamabad said that some delay in the testing was experienced but it was all due to the overloading on the system. He, however, said Islamabad is still on the top in its testing capacity as compared to provinces and other federally administrated regions.

Hamza Shafqat said due to non-cooperation of the residents, the government is compelled to impose smart lockdown in other sectors of Islamabad.
