I will my role to bring Balochistan at part with other provinces in development: PM.

QUETTA -- Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif has said Balochistan province is close to his heart and he will play his role to bring Balochistan at par with other provinces.

?ederal and provincial governments will have to work hard for the development of Balochistan. It is not time for rest. People from the entire country are looking towards us. We are taking steps for containing inflation. We cannot shift burden to the people at any cost. Curbing price hike is the only motive behind our coming to power . We are ready to provide all resources for the development of Balochistan. Baloch youths have pinned high hopes on me. They love me. I will come upto their expectations. The previous government had suspended granting scholarship to the students from Balochistan. I will restart it, he said this while addressing review meeting on administrative situation of Balochistan here Saturday.

Secretary Balochistan gave detailed briefing to PM on progress in ongoing uplift projects in Balochistan and law and order situation.

PM was told that a major part of population is living below poverty line in Balochistan. The main reason behind it is far less opportunities for jobs. Government is working on different development projects in this regard. Preference is being given to locals in providing jobs in these uplift projects.
