ISLAMABAD -- Hurriyat leaders, school children and civil society held a protest walk in Islamabad on Friday to express solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.

Speakers addressing the participants of walk urged the world community to play its due role in lifting up the curfew from occupied valley.

Speaking on the occasion, APHC leader Manzoor-ul-Haq Butt said Kashmir dispute should be resolved in the light of United Nations resolutions by giving Kashmiris their right of self determination.

He said despite all oppressions people of occupied Kashmir will not abandon their right of freedom. He said eight million Kashmiris are under siege since 5th August. He said people are facing continuous Indian lockdown and communications blockade in the held territory.
