Hunting permits.

THE Foreign Office's stance on permits for hunting of the endangered Houbara bustards clearly states: 'The provincial wildlife departments issue the hunting permits in accordance with their respective wildlife laws. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs only conveys its recommendations to the provinces.'

Respecting the stated position of the Foreign Office on the matter, the public would like to have access, both under the Right to Information law and Article 19 of the Constitution, to certified copies of each letter that the Foreign Office wrote to the provinces between Jan 1, 2015, and Oct 30 this year 'recommending' the individuals to hunt Houbara bustards, and to hunt how many of them.
